An hold farmer lived in a poor hut with a sickly and crippled son.
When the young man was 18,he decided to leave the hut to go in search of
fortune. After walking a lot he arrived to an hut where an old, small and bent woman lived.
Indeed, she was a fairy,Who showed him the way to arrive to the castle of
desires.
After clearing a lot of hurdles,he arrived in the last room of the castle and
he took from the hands of an asleep standing up old man,the green torch of
desires.
Escaped from the castle ,he expressed the first desire : to become an
handsome man without hump and crutches.
Then,he built a castle more beautiful than the palace of the king, who was
very envious for that.
A day, passing in front of the king’s castle ,he saw her daughter, the princess
Marianna, and he felt in love with her.
From that day, almost everything night,he ordered the torch to bring him the
princess.
The king, aware of that, imprisioned him and sentenced him to death.
Before he died, the young man expressed the last wish : he ordered that
everyone , except the princess, were buried in the ground up to the chin.
The king, who wanted to be relased, agreed the marriage of the young with his
daughter.
So everyone was free from the speel, the two young people got married and
lived happily ever after.

Swedish version - The Princess and the Peasant
I saw a castle behind the forest. I tried to get up with the help of a stick. Meanwhile, in the castle a marriage proposal was happening. A prince from the Thousand Islands is trying to get the princess's heart. But she said no. But the king forces her to marry him for he is a prince. But suddenly someone knocks on the door. The princess opens and there a peasant stands.
Who is it? shouts the king from the living room.
- A farmer ! He seems damaged, cried the princess from the door.
The farmer tells the whole story. Then he borrowed a horse and some clothes and rode home .
¬ The princess was nervous before her wedding next week. She dreamed that she flew off to Dreamland.
The next morning the princess tried out a lot of bridal gowns. The peasant came the next day to return the horse he had borrowed. The princess and the farmer fell in love, but they could not be together.
The princess sneaked out at night with the peasant. One day when the king saw it his first thought was immediately to behead the peasant.
When the farmer was to be beheaded the princess came and said:
- Nooooo !
The king stopped it. Later it turned out that the prince just wanted all the riches and the kingdom for himself, so then he was beheaded. Instead the peasant and the princess were married and lived happily ever after.
